MARCH MAGIC MONTH

Photo: The backyard of the Inn. Winter is really beautiful. Lots of snow, nice temps and great ski conditions. The Inn completes that perfect day.

Why is March the Magic Month?

This is when mother nature starts her change over from winter to spring. We can have a snow storm one day and 40 plus degrees the next. Of course, this winter has been a lot like that. We typically don’t have the real cold days anymore. If and When the snow starts to melt in some of the sunny locations, the crocuses, tulips and daffodils start to show up.

Check out our Spring Color Vacation

The inside of the Inn is also ready for your visit. Spring flowers brighten the lobby and fireside room. Depending on what type of weather we have, you could ski one day and hike the next. For those coming to ski, we do recommend sun screen. For those who enjoy hiking into the waterfalls, the spring thaw is something to watch. There might even be a day to ride a bike.

Our Ice Cream Parlour is open and always enjoys a lot of attention from our guests. We have had a few spirited domino games and a 3 day puzzle marathon this winter. We offer various food items, great desserts and can do other food with advance notice. For those of you who may have special food needs, let us know, we can accommodate most needs with a little advance notice.

Looking for a great getaway or a way to spend a great week? Tour Northern Wisconsin and the UP of Michigan by staying a couple nights at a different B&B/Inn and tour the area close to them. Then move on to the next B&B/Inn. If you need help setting up a tour, just drop me a line and I can help put it together for you.

Check out the calendar of events, pick a time and come on up and enjoy the quiet, homey comfort of the Inn and sample some of life’s simple pleasures.

Thanks to the guests that are also model railroaders for the wonderful words of wisdom. Doing test fittings to see how things will fit together at the chalet on the Mountain. The top of the mountain is removable, so I have it in the garage where it is easier to wok on. I hope to have it completed and even wired for lights soon.
