Don’t let the high price of gas keep you from enjoy some of lifes great pleasures. Load up that bike, Grab those hiking boots and come spend a few extra days to make the drive less costly. The Inn is a great place to just kick back and relax. Don’t forget that Dick can also cook some great food for you on the BBQ. The tulips are blooming, the shrubs and trees are budding out and I am waiting for the crab apple trees to blossom. The BBQ and tables and chairs are on the deck and it is a great place to relax and enjoy the birds that are back for the summer while having a bite to eat or a great treat from the Ice Cream Parlour.
There are a number of great events and activities going on in the area including performances at the Historical Ironwood theatre. If we can help put something together for you during your stay, please ask. The inside of the Inn is also ready for your visit. Those that have already been out to the waterfalls have enjoyed coming back to the Inn for a quiet card game with tea and cookies. The Inn is large enough to accommodate a group, yet small enough to give each guest special attention. We also offer a variety of accommodations for different levels of comfort Our Ice Cream Parlour is open and enjoying a lot of attention from our guests. We offer various food items, great desserts and can do other food with advance notice. For those of you who may have special food needs, let us know, we can accommodate most needs with a little advance notice.
Our new guest office area and internet access has gotten a little work out. We have been able to use WIFI from all the rooms and our hardwire connections in the office have been used be a couple of very happy business travelers.
New at the Inn – A Model Railroad is taking shape. The original idea was to put it around the balcony, but too many problems would have to be overcome, so it is being built in the office. Guest who would like to see it or even work on it, can just ask. It will be a work in progress for sometime. Check out the calendar of events, pick a time and come on up and enjoy the quiet, homey comfort of the Inn and sample some of life’s simple pleasures.
